Default Running D-series Dist on B18b, should I replace it to a B-series?

If I'm using a D-series distributer on my LS, I'm about to do some replacing, new plugs and wires etc.., should I go for a b-series dist to? Is it worth it?

Can you even put a D serise distributer on a Bseries head!??! I didn't know that was possible! if it is then I want to put my D series noVTEC distributor on my LS?VTEC projects B16 VTEC head! But that's a dream. I know I gotta buy a new VTEC Bseries distributer.. someone tell me I'm wrong and I can use my old distributor. Every time I spend more money on my LS/VTEC project it makes baby jesus cry
