Running codes on my civic help pls?

Running codes on my civic help pls?
i had my car looked at from a friend at a dealer with scan tools, and came back eld or ecu, with was fuse box or ecu, i bought and replaced both , i still cant pull a code off the ecu, the light stays on when trying to pull it, thats wat happend to my old ecu to, my car fried the ecu and dont want this happen to the new one its got to be a wire or something, how can i check it out.

pls help. what do the light on mean?? all wires are ok and in right places, i do have a 3bar gm map but other then this all the wiring are ok there are some grounds that are in different places idk why or what they are for , are the injector grounds open like that
