Rubber rubbing kinda noise from front right tire area, TECH HELP!
So its not engine, tranny, ac, pw steering, brake, belt, or tire related. There is a rubbing repetative noise when I am turning in parking lots. The speed or repitition goes with the speed of the car so its gotta be somting like the axle, CV boot mabey. I have a 00' coupe with 51k, manual.
Anyone have any guesses???

i'm assuming you have bigger rims/tires or your car is dropped. when you're turning your tires maybe rubbing the insides. happens with me too, only it's on the driver side. only happens when i do somewhat sharp turns.

Car is dropped, riding on stock rims and its not a problem with tire rubbing.

It could be your wheel well, the inside plastic piece. My car is on stock 13"s with a 3-4" drop.. im not sure how low.. they're coilovers. Yes its low, yes I scrap on everything, yes its a rough ride, yes my car is on the ground.. but I love it. If your not scrapping then your not low enough The picture in my avatar is whenever it was still on the high side a bit. It's been lowered slightly more. Anyways check for tire marks or scraps on the plastic inside wheel well, it's probaly that.
