Icon2 RSX Type S muffler on an EG?

My girlfriend has an 03 RSX Type S, and we just got her a Tanabe exhaust, my Question is anyone ever put a OEM Type S muffler on their civic? I just want something w/ more breathing room and still stock/sleeper looking.. was thinking of doing mandrel bent piping the rest of the way back, any thoughts?

It does sound very nice, and even flows very well.

I got a EP3 muffler, and was quite impressed with it ( went from a stright through aftermarket model to this ) .

Might sell the dual tip muffler for a RSX muffler to get a single tip, The eps is still flashy but quiet !.

it definatly is not a straight bolt-on application, hell I needed more than 1.5 ours to make it work but yes it did perform very very well but the +05 is even better (its a little different,it has valve inside like corvettes do and is free flow when on hard throttle yet very restrictive for low noise when on part throttle)

my installtion too had the exhaust tip stick out alot so what I did was I cut the tip right off,I mean I had a flush surface on the canister and then I cut the tip in half and welded the tip back onto the canister and ended up with a very clean nice look

On a hatch it needs to be modified ( shortened ) a bit to fit correctly.

any muffler shop will do this in 10 minutes.

Had the local shop do it to the stock B pipe and worked great.

Then had him do a custom 2.5" cat and EP3 muffler and works great.

I have a ej1 meaning it'll be a direct bolt. But what I wanted to know is will it stick out far like it does on hatches?
