RSX seats into 95 civic coupe
YES I KNOW! everyone is going to think google search. i have multiple times to internet search this subject and i even checked the FAQs. i had a 2000 civic coupe that when i bought it had acura rsx type s leather seats in it. Probably the most comfortable seats i have ever sat in, in a honda at least. I am looking for a detailed write up on how difficult and how to get these to fit. i have not been able to track any down yet since i live in south carolina and to say south carolina has slim pickins when it comes to car parts is a drastic understatement but when i do find some i would like to know what it entails. THX.

There's a reason people say search. Here's what I said to the last guy who asked.

As always, 5 seconds searching.

ok so here is the actual question not bolting into ek couple or hatch like the thread says but if i was i would have never asked the question considering i found that under the FAQs but are the bolt patterns for eks and ej1s the same? since i do not know this i wouldnt think that i could use the ek one. If i knew they either were or were not the same then i would have worded the question differently.

I think 2-3 bolts line up, the others will need you to fab up some brackets. Which really isn't hard at all if you have a welder.

Re: RSX seats into 95 civic coupe
This is CUSTOM. CUSTOM!!! Custom as in, you have to rig up something SPECIFIC for YOUR application in order to make it work. Meaning that bolt patterns make absolutely NO DIFFERENCE. What part of that is escaping you?
This is going to require some CUSTOM fabrication. Which means you are going to have to get creative with how you are going to accomplish it. The link to the 6th DIY was given to give you an IDEA how it was done.
If you wanted a more OEM look you could cut off the tabs from your 5th gen rails and have someone weld them to the EP3 ones. That's what I would have done.
So if you haven't found a DIY you're going to have to be a pioneer and do it without one and stop worrying about bolt patterns that don't mater when you have to cut off the mounting tabs anyway.

well bolt patterns DO matter cause if i was going to follow the DIY they linked me to then i would not have to worry and could do it EXACTLY as shown but now i know that the bolt patterns are different i know that i can only USE that DIY as a guide and not as a specific set of instructions. Thank you. lock thread now before you embarrass your self any more!
