I believe there were pics on here of a EF with RSX dash and K20.If that helps.

Lots of custom fabrication, money and time. Is it possible on a 96-00 Civic? Of course it is: you just need a lot of money, a trustworthy shop that knows their ****, lots of downtime and another car to drive in the synapse.
