Default RSX to Civic

I was thinking of getting a new car and I wanted to know if I could swap an 04 RSX engine and tranny into a 04 Civic Si. What would I need to buy or whatever? Would it be a problem with the stick being in the dash?

seeing that the ep3 SI already has the base rsx engine in it, i think a rsx-s engine would bolt up fine.

1. search
2. the linkage is different, im pretty sure the tranny is the same, if its not you need a diff. tranny b/c of the shift in the dash
3. why did you paint mandark black?

Seeing how I don't really ask that many dumb question (just give out smart *** answers). What's this search thing about and how does it work (like I said, since I've been on here I really haven't had a need to do it.

P.S. Let's not lose focus on my questions. Would the tranny fit fine or what?

1. I'll get right on that.
2. The RSX Type-S (I'll be more specific in the future) is a six speed.
3. Becaue people say that we look alike (on account I have a big head**two of them actually**).

i don't see why you would spend that much money on a whole new k20 engine (unless you mean just swapping heads)when you could just supercharge the engine you ahve now and be just as fast if not a little faster than type s's, and buy just buying a supercharger or turob you would be saving about 3500 dollars. that is just my 2 cents though.
