Default RS*R GTII Exhaust

has anyone had problems with this exhaust rubbing on the ground at all where its supposed to bend above and over the axle? i really like the way it looks, but im a little sketchy as to whether it will dent or scratch through in that particular area.

its an awesome looking exhaust, and from what i hear it sounds great and i like the concept of the slip fit conections. if i could get any input from people who have this on an EG? thanks in advance.

i had a setup similar to that one on my old hatch and i just had to raise my car a tad bit....other then that, it was fine. and i also placed a sheet of some sort of insulation material on the gas tank to keep the heat from the piping penetrating the gas tank....phew~ did that make sense..well you get the idea.

if your car is any lower then 2" you can just forget about it. my friend with a 3" drop put that exhaust on his car and where the piping bent; it literally sat less then an inch off the ground. he bought it, installed it for about 5 hours and took it off and re-sold it. lol.

why do you say that
my car almost tucks the front tires and i have about 1/2" gap on the back and the
only time my exhaust hits is when i am coming into my apartment complex and i go over the gargantuan speed bumps.
