Rpm's only drop when i lift pedal with foot
Hey i've been havin this problem since i swapped in a z6 a couple months ago. basically wen i'm drivin and i stop n im in neutral my rpms stay real high then if i lift the back of the pedal up with my foot it drops to normal. any ideas on what that could be? I do have a aftermarket TB and we had to adjust the screw a little bit cause it was too tight, could that have nething to do with it? lmk thanks

my z6 does the exact same thing, but only in the summertime. i've assumed that my throttle body valve is probably sticking, so i plan on cleaning one of these days
also @Grumblemarc
when removing the throttle body, is it necessary to replace the gasket? idk if its a paper or rubber gasket or what

The throttle stop screw is set at the factory and should never be adjusted. It's probably best to replace the throttle body at this point.
