RPM JUMP AT 1500
Hello
I have HONDA CIVIC DX 1994 SEDAN 4 DOORS.
Type of engine D15B7
and when I got to 1500RPM in the gauge its start to jump (if I put more gas the jumping is gone).
I asked people in my country and they told me I need to clean the IACV.
Is this the only part that can make this problem?
The simple solution is to clean it?
Do I need special material to clean it? (carb spray is very strong and I am afraid of the sensors)
Appreciate your help and knowledge specially people who have this specific problem and resolve it.
Thank you

No when I am in 1500RPM it feels like the car is bouncing.
Also if its help you to get more information when I stand in red light for example the rpm is very low like 300 and the car is really shaking.
Thank you

First you should check if you have a cel then go from there. If not clean the IACV and its also a good idea to clean the throttle body. You can use carb cleaner or just use throttle body cleaner they are both similar. Also a good idea to check and make sure your air filter isn't clogged.

I've used it and many other people have just spray it where needed and not the electrical components. Check this tutorial here https://honda-tech.com/acura-integra...valve-1575913/

You actually disconnect the IACV from the sensor and coolant line then clean it.
I fill the bucket with carb cleaner then soak it.
Make sure to remove the gasket before soaking.

Re: RPM JUMP AT 1500
After cleaning the IACV you press gas until 1500rpm and it was stable without jumping?
Thank you
