rotor retaining screws

rotor retaining screws
huh. broke the screws off in the hub. tried drilling, not even making a dent. punch and hammer isn't doing the job either. torch you say? tried it, didn't help. they're soaking in pb at the moment, any other ideas?

i had to get a titanium coated drill bit to drill out a seized bolt in my lower control arm......you might want to try that.....but they are expensive.....i think it was like an 18.00 drill bit......

Yea I just put mine in and really didn't tighten them. They came out easy for me, tho.

lol then whats the point of getting them out?? leave them in there if you're not planning on re-installing. Theyre not doing anything good or bad.

drill a direct hole through the screw then use an extractor bit to back it out, soak it in pb or trust it, or some penatrating solution, ike that.

WERD thats what i did. they stripped on me. Those bits go pretty much right though. i mean took like maybe 1-2min per screw. remember dont just keep pushing. apply pressure for a bit then pull back. keeps from over heating the bit and burning it out.
