What size rings do I need for my 15" C8s to mount up to my 94 hatch? Also, what's the best place to get them and what type is recomended?
I did a search and only found a few debates about whether or not you need hub rings, but no actually sizes...

When I talked to a guy at http://www.jaydm.com on the phone he said you wouldn't need them on a civic. Now if that is correct or not Im not sure.

you do need them. get them dierctly from Rota(cosmic) or machiii.net.

i was lookin at the same problem...i know the inner is 56.15mm for civic but what about outter diameter?

call the manufacturer... they'll give you the proper one and where you can get them...

they center the wheel on the hub... some lugs (lugcentric lugs) do the same thing w/o a center ring... however you can run into serious problems w/o them..

I had no hub-centric rings on my sentra with a couple pairs of wheels and there was always weird vibration in the steering wheel over 60 or so (no they did not need to be balanced.. or aligned)... when I put on the hub-centric rings it fixed it immediatly.

These fit my
4x100 only Slips
8x100 C8s
8x100 Rota RNR

I remember Matt telling me that Rotas that are drilled for 100 and 114 have a different center bore.

yea the rings help balance out the wheel on the hub so your car doesnt chake on the road when you have greater speed

plastic ones are better than metal. metal ones tend to rust/seize to the hub

And plastic ones tend to melt if you track your car.

Matt stocks aluminum ones.

Plastic tends to melt or break faster.. go with composite

i've been running with some hard plastic crap for over a year now. haven't melted or warped on me yet. lots of people run w/o them, others run with them. depends if u want peace of mind or not.

I got mine from these guys as well. You don't want metal OR plastic hub rings.

Will these specific rings fit/work properly on a 96 civic hatch with 16" rota slips/4x100/offset 40 or 42 i think. and how many do i put in the quantity box? does quantity 1 mean it comes with all 4 of them? or is it 7 bux each and i need to put 4 in the quantity box?

do these require special tools to install? or slip it on and bolt on the wheel?

Go to prestigewheel and start at the main page. You will see a link for hub rings, then you pick your wheel, then you pick your hub diameter (56.15). You enter 4 in the quantity box.

come to think of it, mine arent plastic either.... they are composite. light as plastic, but far more brittle. dont look like theyre gonna melt just dont metal ones. theyre a bizznatch to get off

What about 5 lug conversions. Do they need these rings? Do they need to same size or different?
