Default Rolling forward odometer

Hey guys so i allready searched this thread and im getting nothing, everything that comes up is old and pics arent there anymore, pretty much my buddy sold his ride and we put an si cluster that was zeroed out, now that he sold it we need to put it back to original miles for smoggin purpoes and registration so if any one can help. thanks

Trying to roll 30k forward, i remeber reading about it something like a tab that holds in in place and all you do is roll the numbers

it's freaking easy.

Take your cluster out, unscrew the 4 screws holding the odometer in.

Once you have it out, take some precision tools and pry two apart from a middle wheel and spin it.

if the () are wheels spin the bold one once you have the outer ones pried away from the center one.

Yes, once you can touch the "wheels" that display the numbers, just carefully pry two of them apart from a center wheel and the center wheel will spin freely.

You can probably break one of the small pieces if you're rough with it.

Take your time and be careful. It's not like you're writing on rice paper with a ball point or anything.

There's a metal pin which you pry loose on one side, which allows the dials to free spin. Make sure every dial (and gears) is lined up before pushing back that pin.

Didn't know about that handy pin, I've been telling people how to do it the ghetto way for a while now.

It's real easy. This way you don't have to pop the needle off and everything will line up.

lol.. u can put ur wheel on jackstands.... take off the wheels... turn it on.. rev it throw it into neutral and turn off motor n just let it spin =X
