if this is for a street car i suggest you dont get a roll cage, they can make it more unsafe in the event of an accident...

well yeah... but in a RACE environment, where youre wearing a helmet and harnessed in. not bare headed and 3pt seat belt.
get a rollbar. you dont need to inconvenience and risk of a rollcage and its forward tubes. a proper rollbar will allow you to properly install a harness.

but a rollbar with front extension arms is ok?
if i were to get a rollcage (not anytime soon) i would def being using a 5pt harness instead of the 3pt seatbelt, but i do see the danger in banging your head of the rollcage in the event of a side collision... if this is the only danger than a rollbar with front extension arms should be fine, right?
