Default roll cage question?

will a roll cage(auto power bolt in) made for a 96+ hatch fit a dc-2. Is there alignment issues or will it bolt up and will it be safe and help out the rigidity of the car or is this worthless???

it should be realtively close, but i doubt it's gonna bolt up perfect.which model is it?a 4-point model or an actual cage?if it's just a roll bar,and you're getting it for a really good price, you could get new back bars made if the included ones don't fit.if it's a cage,i wouldn't even buy it unless you have the ability to try it out first-i seriously doubt the front part of the cage will fit with no problems.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by BrownGSR &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">it is a 4point with the back head bar, diagional bar, and harness bar.</TD></TR></TABLE>
that may be worth gettingif it's a smoking deal.the main hoop should work fine.since the back bars slip on,if they're the wrong length, you could easily have some more made.
but again, unless you're getting this thing for next to nothing,i'd just wait and get the right one for your car.if you don't have welding skills, and you do need new back bars you'll have to buy the materials and pay somebody to fit them and weld the baseplates to them.that could easily make the total cost as much or more than
a new bar would cost.
