err... they only add safety as long as everyone is wearing their FIA belts no rollcage is safe for your backseat passangers... better of without one IMO

So you want the cage for a street car that won't be tracked?

You don't want a full cage on a street car. It's simply not a good idea. If you're dead-set on installing some sort of bars, look into a roll bar instead, or just skip it altogether and save the money (and added weight).

i heard the cusco cage has fitment problems. since the cage was designed for a right hand drive, some modifications will have to be made. i've heard good things about autopower roll cages. great fitment... i'd try their cage before cusco's... custom ones are pretty expensive... there are trade-offs. trade some down time for a custom cage and when they're done, you probably want to make them look pretty. the reason why i like autopower is because you can bolt them in in an afternoon and won't have to paint it or anything.

Did you read my post? You don't want a full cage in a street car. Look into an Autopower roll bar if you're absolutely intent on installing something like this in your car. And yes, an Autopower roll bar will allow you to keep your rear seats.

How come you want to keep your rear seats? It would be unsafe for anyone to sit back there with the cage in anyway. Autopower fits really well but I think its like a 6 to 8 week wait for most of them. It is actually kind of a misconception that your car is going to be safer with a cage. For it to be safer you would have to be wearing a helmet. Without the helmet and a restraint system the cage is actually more dangerous in your car. Think about your head bouncing off of steel tubing kind of dangerous.
