Default rocket m22 cams

i recently purchase a b18c motor. im thinking of tunning this beast. iam going to start with the cams. i want to get the m22. but i also want to change the valves, valve spring and retainers. i heard that the springs depend on what type of cams you get? if so, which springs do i go for. and i want to get flat face valves. can anyone guide me as to which brands make decend valves, springs and retainers? or do i stick with oem itr parts? let me know whats up

A valvetrain upgrade is a MUST with the M22 cams. We obviously make our SL line, super light seat preasure yet can handle 10k+ of abuse. For valves, we reccommend Super Tech, we've had great success with them.

I think you would be very happy with the cams, they fit the B18c motors to an absolute T.

If you really want to get the most out of them, your gonna need a whole valvetrain. Omniman used this cam in his 200whp b16 project with an ITR outer, portflow inner, and portflow retainers with a 9300 rpm redline, which in my book is high enough. A nice header will compliment those cams well.

if im not mistaken those were an early grind of the profiles. they're a little bigger now. clean rice can correct me if im wrong.

There is a "newer" version out yes, and Steve used the 1st generation of the cams. Even with the stock rev limiter, I would highly highly reccommend that you do not use stock valvetrain with them.
