road noise on civic coupé

road noise on civic coupé
when i drive my civic coupé 94 in rain, there is too much road noise i think...
what can i do to lower the noise?
i have been wondering if its best to use some sound deadning outside or on the inside?

What do you mean dynamat the outside? Thats funny. Its really difficult to get a Civic as quiet as a Lexus, you can get almost there with a bit of work. You'll need to remove most of your interior panels and start sticking sound deadener to any metal surface you can reach like the floor board and doors. Remove your headliner and add some to your underside of your roof too. Stuff some insolation in open cavities in the rear and that should quiet the car down a pretty good amount. But to get rid of every single little noise in a Civic is near impossible.

i mena at the back wheels...
well i didn't say i wanted it to be as quiet as a lexus, i just want to remove irritation noise...
maybe its my tires as 3lo mentioned, because i don't have the same problem on my civic 93' 4door...

yeah i noticed my civic is pretty noisy around the rear, i hear the suspension and tires alot. never really tried to figure it out, figured maybe cheap tires combined with poly trailing arm bushings, aftermarket suspension, old bushings it was normal.

i think i will start with some Dinitrol corrosion protection on the outside, it should be sound deadning...
and next will be dynamat in the hole trunk i think...
