Default Rim/Tire Question

Wel i just put my rota c8's on. they have michillen xgt (i know) tires. I installed them on the front. all the lugs + lock nuts are as tight as i can go.

but when i was driving it after the install, the tires seem to wobble when im going fast. like once in a while? i have no idea what it is.

i went from 175-60-13 tires to 195-60-15. should that make a difference?

either you need them balanced or maybe you need hubcentric rings for your rotas.

sounds like they aren't balanced.

unbalanced wheels usually show their sign around 60 mph

If there are no weights on them, thats the problem. Also, ALL Rotas (from what I understand) need the hubcentric rings.

get them balanced, get the hub rings, and torque the wheels down properly.

Honestly Rotas don't absolutely have to have hub centric rings. Some fit perfect, while other are a bit loose in the hub area, but if you torque the wheels properly and make sure the lugs are seated right I don't see why you'd need the rings.

I say you need to have them all balanced.

BTW:

195-60-15 - why such a dumpy-*** tire? Dude that's a stock honda Accord tire size.

Can you not get a 195-50-15 or a 205-50-15?

i know man, its just i bought them with those tires and i just just lost my job so i cant spend any cash. and i figured id jsut burn these off and then get some Toyo's in 195-50-15. tires are better than no tires at all!

oh yea, and every time i ask a question you're always there for my answer
