Hey All,

I need to find out waht rim size will fit on my 94 ex. Tirerack is saying I need a 14" but I thought I remember seeing you have to have a 15" with the ex. I am currently on 15"s but was wondering if a 14 would work. Need some rims for winter tires also so if anyone has any let me know.

They come stock with 14's but i wouldnt go any higher than 15's IMO. It's your car do what you want to do. And check the Market Place for some wheels for winter.

Edit: You won't be able to view the market place for a few day's, just wait it out

If I were you, I'd buy new tires for your steelies, either heavy duty all-season tires or studded tires; as for new wheels -- I'd suggest 16s. They are a nice complement from 17s and 18s, which are too large for 5th gen civics. 14s and 15s aren't really worth spending money on, if you're going to go that small, you mine as well as repaint your steelies and call it good. And 13 inch wheels are for slicks.

let me clarify a bit. I am mainly curious what steelies will fit over my stock brakes etc. I saw you said they came stock with 14s so Will any 14s work off of a civic?

Word to the wise the smallest you can go on the 92-95 ex or si for that matter is the 14" these cars came with larger brakes and a 13" will not fit. As others have already said the 14" is what came stock on your car. Proformance wise I wouldn't go any bigger then the 15" unless you have a lot of motor work done the larger wheel and tires just wiegh to much or just want the bigger wheel.

14" -16 inch steelies will be fine for winter... youll have no problem making them fit off a civic.. (dont know if they make 16" steelies but yea).... civic/accord/del sol anything with a 4x100 bolt pattern

if your going for looks as well get 15 or 16 inch. if not you COULD get 14's but i think they look super small with such a fat tire. i know you can find 15 and 16 inch steelies. i remember seeing someone say where to find 15 and 16 inch steelies if thats all your looking for. i dont remember where tho but i know there are some

As for stock steelies --

You need ones made for the EX/Si models. They have larger brakes. The size of them is 14x6 +40. Other 14" wheels may not fit (such as the HX wheels) because they have a +45 offset, and this puts them too far back. This causes the caliper to scrub against the wheel.

If u want drive stock Bracking System take 15", looks better, nice wheels and the job is done!

if u want to tune ur brake someday, take 16"...
looks even very nice and not to big...

please no14", these is OEM but looks bad... that suckz...
