Rim Design
Hello, I didn't know what forum to post this, so i apoligize in advance. Anyways, Ive been learning a program called SolidWorks, its a mechanical engineering designing program. I'm learning this software on my own through the use of tutorials. Here it is...hope the pic will post. Whata think?

I've used autocad before, but only for floor plans/building layouts, i've never used it for mechanical drawings. The program is easy to learn. What you do is construct all the peices individually (in this case, the tire, rim, center cap, nuts, lugnuts) and then you make a final assembly of the objects. You can then do cross sections of your final assembly, and do all sorts of neat stuff

autocad is pretty easy to do mech stuff in as well
but if you know catia, it rocks. cause if you design engine parts, etc, you can actually run the program to test it out
