it would be expensive to make it legal and import the parts and do custom fabrication. the amount of work involved is beyond you.

You can but in some US states (depending on the law and DMV regulations) you'll have a hard time getting it legalized even if its imported and it would cost you an arm and a leg $$$$ just to make it RHD. Not worth the time doing it.
I'd rather keep mine LHD.
