Is this the right dipstick
Ive got a 99 civic dx with an auto. my dad thinkt the trany has the wrong dipstick in it. (he a mechanic and im 17) I took some oics and i think its the right one and the thing is over filled. the pics were takin when the car was cold.

ok ill try that next time, grumblemarc. it looks way over filled to me with it being on flat ground and cold. I think this is where my problem is from.

When it coast in 4th gear it makes a really loud noise. like a hyrolic pump on a lift running but louder. i think that it being over filled is my cause
