Default Is this right?

Hey i was wondering i currently have a JDM D15B Vtec engine running a chipped p28 ecu! My question is is this ecu preety correct for my setup( i know oem is p08) i mean no problems right? Can anyone tell me their experiences and stuff or opinions

That chip could be hurting you very badly or could be helping you. I suggest you get it tuned.

Using DOHC maps on a SOHC may not be the greatest idea. Get it tuned for your motor.

Well the P28 is fine, but you definetly dont want to run b16 maps. Get your car tuned ( I dont know if you can tune EEPROM I have never heard of it). Or go with something like crome, only 100 bucks and tune it. Or, lastly get a stock ecu.

EPROM is what the chip is called, you could get it tuned with either Hondata (S100) or crome.

you can cut the I jumper wire that was added when it was chipped and it should run off the stock P28 map which IMO would be better than the B16 map. Someone on here knows what exactly you would have to cut to get it to read the stock map

gl</TD></TR></TABLE> Well i rather not cut **** like that so when i slap on my turbo all ill need is to get crome and not have to pay to get it re-chipped!! I prefer to get a chip burned with p08 maps instead

take it to someone that tunes and tune the car or just ask for a stock basemap
