Default Rides slightly rough after new rims...

I swapped my stock 13" rims for these understated 15" si rims, and as expected it doesn't ride as smooth as before...

What would be the best solution to improve the cars ride and handling? preferably I'm wanting to spend under £250.

I thought lowering the car with new springs might help, but i'm abit of a noob. The ride isn't unbearable but if it could be improved i should be. cheers!

That's to be expected due to having less sidewall "cushion" from the larger wheels, but keeping the overall diameter of the tire.

Also, it might just be the brand of tire that you have now (I'm assuming the tires on the Si wheels are a different brand). So it might be cause of the different tire construction.

with that much sidewall it should still ride about the same. You don't have low profile tires or anything. It could be the tire pressure. I personally like a bit stiffer ride in my suspension.

that makes sense about there being less sidewall cushion.
Don't think it's the tire pressures, i recently checked them.

Thanks for the advice.
