Default Ride height/springs. Del Sol

93 del sol si.
Rear springs are sagging and I'd like to restore the original ride quality and height.
Maybe a slight upgrade but nothing too serious.
New shocks/springs, "coilovers" but all the kits I find want to lower the height.
Someone please recomend a place to look other than the dealer. I don't have a fat wallet.
Anyone got a set for sale ?

I have a set off of my 93 sol sence I lowered it. They had good stance on mine before I took them off. If you would like I can get a price for you. I'll sell them for $30.00 plus shipping.

always look for the ones that say adjustible because most of the time they begin at stock height and you can adjust to your preference. Ive got some on my del sol ( not for sale) and i only lowered mine about 1.5 inches.

I see those kits, but they all say 1-4" lowering, while i really want to go +1 and work down to what I like the look of.

Coilovers are adjustable so that you can find the height you want.

Seems to be a whole lot of coilovers to choose from, wondering if the ones without shocks would actually fit over standard oem shocks ?

Yea, coilover sleeves would work fine but they put alot of stress on OEM struts, which would make them blow fast.

For springs try H & R OE Sport Springs. They barely lower your sol, then you can find some non-adjustable shocks like KYB. Sure, you could go with an adjustable setup, but you really don't need it for driving on the streets.

Lets try a different aproach.............
Are there any heavy duty, say civic SI or civic 4 door springs/shocks that will fit ?
I believe that some may fit, but uncertain which years will fir the Del Sol.
As they are probably heavier vehicles they should provide the required height I'm looking for, perhaps with beefier shocks too. I'll buy new if I have to, but prefere some good low milage oem items if anyone has some going at a sensible price.

Darn it, doesn't anyone make springs for a honda that doesn't lower it.

You're going to have a hard time finding aftermarket springs that don't lower your sol.

On my delsol i put tokico drop springs that i got from a buddy real cheap! with some fairly new OEM shocks and they dropped my sol like and inch, it def. handle a little better plus the ride was so smooth compared to the coilovers on my civic!
