Default RHD question

Hello HT people, my name is Angel and i'd like to ask you guys a few questions, i'm in the process of looking for a vehicle and well what i'd really LOVE to have is a 99-00 CTR imported from Japan, now, my question is HOW hard is it to register a RHD vehicle down here in the state of California? What procedures do you take?, because i really want this vehicle and i have the money for it but i also want to know what i'm going to go up against with the DMV, any information would help, THANK YOU in advance

As I told you when you Pmd me. It's not possible to do anymore. Your only hope would be to find one here that's already registered like I did

It's not possible anymore. On top of it op is in CA. Like I said his only chance would be to find one already registered here in the U.S like I did, then he'd be able to register it. But he's not gonna get a unregistered one and be able to get it done

I would say impossible if he wanted a Skyline, but I know a few who recently had some cars imported into the US. Its who you know and really how deep is your wallet.

Its not illegal when you receive official paperwork

The other option which I believe is legal and easier to do in the US, is with no motor, just the shell.
