Default RHD is functional

i realized RHD was actually functional contrary to popular beleif on this forum...

the engine sits over on the left side of the car. having the driver sit on the right, would balance the weight out. the difference would be subtle, but every little bit counts.

just a thought.

i also havn't started a topic in a while

If you have a fat chick on the right side and you're driving, then it might be balanced the same way and it would weigh more so you would get better traction.

Great thread Chris. So anyone on here have a RHD EK?

moreso than sitting on one side of the car or the other...its more a matter of the suspension comonents used than anything else....

you think?

j/k, but seriously, a more even weight balance on top of a killer suspension setup couldn't hurt.

man so now anti-rhd is the cool thing on honda-tech huh? I mean some people like it, some don't. I think its pretty cool but then again I don't see them very often. I just say whatever. I'll take a properly setup car over a stock rhd car anyday though.

corner weighting* with the driver in the car + adjustable coil overs does just fine at this.

most people look at RHD (more specifically, RHD conversions) as a waste of money, "whats the point?". this is also the point of view i have on the matter.

I'm just saying let people be(I don't me you). People like different things and we shouldn't judge them. Whats the point of us modifying our cars then, Its just a gas saver.

lol..whats the fascination with a mirror image of what you already have? and like i said before, weight balance issues are handled just fine with corner weighting.

when people think of skylines, if they are saying "oooooo ****" about the rhd aspect, they are liking the skyline for all the wrong reasons.

thats what I'm saying. I would love to have a RHD drive car but only if I had money. I would rather have more performance then spend it and have a stock rhd. If I had to choose between a fast ***, clean lhd skyline and a stock rhd skyline. I would choose the skyline. I know they don't make a lhd skyline but its just an example. and I know you can get them converted to lhd but then that would cost money.

ok but take two skylines. same mods both boasting over 1000+ HP. fully done susp, etc etc etc. think fully built.

one is rhd, one lhd?

which one would u take?

personally, being that i live in america, lhd is much more practical. the reverse image of something i already have means nothing. thats just dumb.

Lol! Thats not what I meant, I was just retorting to "RHD is gay", and thought hey Skylines are RHD, they are not "gay".

Even though we all know that driving from the right side is what makes the Skyline special, that extra stuff with the turbos and such is just an excuse to charge more for it.

Yes, clearly you want the LHD. What if you had the chance to own a RHD Skyline (the only kind there is), would you convert it to LHD?
