Default Review: Megan Drift Spec exhaust.

I would like to start off by saying I'm very happy with the quality and fitment of this exhaust, the price wasn't too bad either.

I purchased this exhaust from EBay (yes, it was the authentic exhaust; not a knock off). I paid $324 shipped for it, the price on http://www.meganracing.com was I believe $380 shipped.

When I got the exhaust, I inspected all the welds and was impressed with it. Installing it was a breeze, hooked directly to my cat and the other two peices fit very well too. My only complaint was that hanger on the resonator wasn't alligned correctly so I wasn't able to hang it. I'll need to get a new hanger welded on so I can hang it properly.

When it was all said and done, I started the car and it sounded great. A nice deep, low but yet mean noise erupted from the muffler. Upon leaving my driveway I did hear a scape on the ground.

I noticed that where the resonator connects to the cat it was about an inch or two off the ground. Now, my car is lowered roughly about 3.5" that could be why . However, maybe when I get that hanger installed it will fix that.

In the end, this is a very good exhaust system for a relatively low cost. I will get pictures up once I get my computer at my house, and possibly a sound clip also.

video of the new exhaust when i got it in about february (notice the winter tires haha) i have a header and race pipe on at this time and i didnt take it up real high revving it cuz i wasnt sure the video would even work...oh and that's when it had the D15B7 in it so uh don't mind the blue smoke haha pretty nice compared to this...
http://vids.myspace.com/index....73920 also with the D15 but with cheap tsudo ebay exhaust (give the video a second til i come over the hill)

in my opinion megan exhaust is except for the hanger after the cat....but i don't think and expletive company can get that **** right
