Default REV limiter

i have a d16z6 and the rev limiter kicks in about 6 1/4 .... but then i see a b16 hit 9 grand like its nothing..... now i know my motor is usdm but is it right?

comparing the sohc to the dohc is comparing apples to oranges. What exactly is your question? Are you wanting it to rev higher?

i didnt think twice about it being sohc, and the b16 being a dohc.... my bad, but still isnt 6300 low?

yah 6300 does seem low, my automatic d16y8 limit was 6900 i believe.
