resonator - same as a glass pack muffler?
i searched and didn't find what i needed. are resonators the same as glass packs? would a cherry bumb for example work the same as say a resonator that came with the car stock? the reason i ask is because i'm trying to get my exhaust to be quiet, the last time i bought a resonator was a long time ago, and it looked like a bullet and had a louvered core. i can't find anywhere which sells that type any more. thanks

yes a cherry bomb/glasspack works great for quieting up a civic. And the straight through design does not rerstrict flow.
I used to use them in the 90's to rid civics with aftermarket exhaust of the BUZZZ

Don't get one with a lovered core. It causes turbulence and impedes exhaust velocity. Find one that has a perforated core like from Magnaflow.

stock resonators are a bit small unless you are going to go with like 1 3/4" piping. You should look at jegs and other similar sites. They go for pretty cheap. Good luck
