resonator placement ?
ok, so i finally got my mugen twin loop (genuine) and love the sound except the raspiness. 2.5" straight back from the header. I bought it from my friend who had it on his Si. he had a resonator on his pipe and it wasn't raspy at all.
My question is there any pros cons with where in the stream the resonator is located? IE more tone if its at the front of the pipe or less tone near the back. I've seen them installed at the font, middle and back but i have no basis to make a descission on. I would assume that the longer the resonator the less buzz.
