have a 2.25 in custom exhaust from the header to the muffler. needless to say its way to loud. what r some suggestions for a good straight through resonator?
car is a 95 b16 sol with a greddy header and magnaflow muffler.

if it's stainless, and you would like to keep it that way check out the options from Vibrant.

if you can stand to have aluminized steel try Jones Exhaust. Almost 1/4 the price but still great quality parts. you can find them on Summit Racing and even Amazon..

the exhaust pipe itself is aluminzed steel, i think im gona go with the vibrant though, it seems to muffle the sound more. thanks!

This may be old stuff to consider, but in previous cars I have owned, I have used a Cherry Bomb/Glasspack as a resonator and it did a great job at bringing the noise down/removing some raspiness.

reviews i read and the fact that the body is bigger would make me think that more sound would be captured. but no i do not know from personal experiance. also some of the reviews were similar setups to mine.

i was wondering about those, its just super loud right now and i really want alot if the drone and raspiness to go away.

the Jones resonator I used looked just like these on the inside. with the louvers toward the engine I have no drone or rasp.
