Default Resistor box installation screwup 94 del sol

I installed a resistor box into my 1994 honda del dol via the blocked off plug on the shock D/s tower. (I was following a DIY write up and cut the whole plug by accident. so you know all the wires are the same color. I really jammed myself up. Please help with schematics or whatever anyone can come up with. this is the write up i used. https://honda-tech.com/forums/hybrid-engine-swaps-18/resistor-box-install-dummies-w-pics-3029555/

use a multi meter to check which ones are the ones coming from the injector.
and make you you use something to mark it
use one end on the same color wire from the injector clip and the other on each one of the end plug until you get a signal. Than label inj. and on to the next clip.

Post pictures of the connector and the cut wires.

For wires of the same color in a junction connector, theoretically you can splice the wires back in any order.

on the junction plug you have a total of 8 yelow/black wires. the following are in that plug:
injectors 1-4
iacv
o2
evap purge solenoid
power wire from driver shock tower plug

so essentially only 7 wires go to the sensors while the last one comes from the 14 pin driver side plug.

4 inj. wires from the inj., wire them to the 4 same color wires coming from the resistor box.
than the odd color wire from the resistor, wire that one to all four of of the end plug.
than plug the end plug cap back on and there you go.
but first you gotta find out where all the other ones go too, don't think it matters as though the end plug is the power source.

Moved what? You already started THIS thread. And judging from the instructions in the DIY you didn't follow directions. I don't see anywhere that it said to chop off the whole plug first. I didn't have this problem when I wired my resistor box.

You only have one new pic and it won't post because you have profanity in the link that is getting censored by the forum software.

What you're going to have to do now is the same thing as in the DIY but instead of the OEM plug you need to start probing the wiring in your makeshift connector. No difference.

Why didn't you read my response?

Also post a picture of the face of the cut connector and the location of the cut wires in the harness.

Is the wire harness from the stock 94 Del Sol?

How do you think a pinout is going to help you now? You cut off the plug!!!

You start probing wires. Did you even ready that DIY?
remove the plug, push in the button on the side and use a screw driver to pry the plug out.

take your awesome drawing skills and make a sketch of the connector.

now unplug your injector connectors. go back to the plug with the block off plate and take note of what color wires are there. mine where all yellow. look for that color wire on the injector pigtail and insert 1 probe lead into that side of the connector.

now take your other lead and start probing the plug that had the block off.

once your volt/ohm meter makes an audible sound(like mine) or lights up like some, mark that pin on your sketch that you drew with your mad art skillz.
once you have identified those 4 wires that go to your injectors, cut and strip them.

You have to do this same thing to your new connector. Sorry to come off as an *** but you aren't paying attention or really listening. If you don't know how to test with a multimeter just say so. Ron is expert with all things electrical.

wire 4 of those other wires that does not belong to the inj to the other 4 on the end plug.
not sure if it matters, but on the end plug cap, inside there is metal lines going to each and everyone of them.
So it should be fine, than wire the resistor odd color wire from the 4 other to the 4 other end plug wires that are left.

ill post a picture when i get the chance.

That plug is now serving no purpose. The resistor box is now incorrectly wired to that green plug in the background.

Yea, now u just gotta re wire the yellow wire from the resistor box too 3 on top and the one on the bottom left wire from the end plug.
Than the rest just wire it one to one to the end plug.

Makes no difference since the plug has been cut off. All the wires remaining are mixed up.

Do you have a multimeter?

yes i do marc. what are we thinking these remaining wires are? I need a schematic. i feel so blind and it gives me anxiety. i hope they can go back in any order since the block plate connects everything anyway? I would look in my own block off plug but......long story. im hittin the junkyard tomorrow hopefully i can get another one.

You test the remaining wires as if they were still in the plug. That simple. You're making it 10,000x harder than it is. Next time, follow a guide to the letter!
