resistor box on a ek .... insight needed
Let me start out by saying the I searched, found, and didn't quite understand the other post's since a ek has different connectors and dead end plugs than the eg's.
On the ek dead end plug that you splice to. I found the 4 (yellow/black) wires that had juice through them, spliced them into the 4 black off a oem honda resistor box.
Then I got confused, I was told to just find 1 black wire that had power and connect it to the red wire off the resitor box.
The car isn't turning on, something isn't right.
I think there should be more then jsut one black wire connected to the red wire, right?

Re: resistor box on a ek .... insight needed (simplsi)
You have to run the red wire to a power source. What you could do is put the other half of the 4 wires together and connect them to the red wire and your fine. I dont know what write up you read that said connect it to a black wire (which is usually ground)

Re: (simplsi)
You cut 4 yel/blk wires that go to your injector clips right? You cut the wires in half, one half goes to the injectors, the other half goes to the power source. You tapped the 4 going to the injectors to the resistor box, and then the 4 in the other half goes to the red wire. Pretty easy.

ok, i think you just let it be clear.
so you only worry about the (yellow/black wires) i did it the dumb way, i see what happend.
so bassically.
cut the 4 wires in half, combine all of them together and hook it up to the red wire off the box, then spplice them individually to the black wires of the box.
thanks luser for helping me out.
man if youd see the way i did it, haha, it's so much extra work for nothing. and didn't even work.
