well, your first bet is to find out which code the cel is

theres a thread o how to do that,. basically theres 2 connectors near your glove box by the door kinda. theres a 3 prong one, and a 2 prong one.
take a paperclip and jam it in the 2 prong connector and turn your car to the on posistion but dont start

the cel will blink. a long pause = 10
a short one = 1
add them up and thats the code
then check the code or just ask here what it is

as for your cat, no cat wont throw a cel on a 95. 95 runs a single o2 on your manifold. 96 runs dual i believe.

either way, im guessing your throwing code 41

Use my DIY thread at the top of this forum..
Check the code
Fix the code
Pull backup ECU fuse in the underhood glove box for 3 mins.. or disconnect the negative battery terminal for 3 mins

this was just covered a few threads down.

https://honda-tech.com/zerothread/1706759

and as far as fixing the code goes. the code tells you whats wrong with the car. you then fix the problem with the car and the cel will dissapear into thin air......

its pretty obvious that its the o2 sensor, since it is mounted on the exhaust manifold.did you try connecting it back in when you swapped back the manifold?if you did, the o2 sensor is damaged.
the o2 sensor will set a what is called "a hard code" which mean that no matter what you do to try to erase it will always be there the only way you can clear it is to replace the o2 sensor.to pull the code manually turn off the ignition, jump the 2-pin connector(underneath glovebox next to the ecu) with a paperclip, turn on the ignition and wait for the light to start flashing then count the flashes (long flashes are for the first digit short flashes are for the second digit). o2 sensor wil give a code 1.
