Replacing steering wheel and keeping cruise controls
Hey all - 95 Sol Si, with the driver and passenger SRS.
I want to eventually replace the steering wheel, and read through the FAQ on that, but didn't see anything about keeping the cruise control.
If you do replace the steering wheel, where/how do you remount the cruise control stuff?
John

Either custom rig it or nothing.
I have never seen any aftermarket steeringwheels with stock cruise control components on it.
People who tend to do that mod in the first place arent worried about cruise control or airbags to begin with (if you are putting on say, a momo steering wheel.)

Re: (95civicdx)
Aftermarket, mostly because I am planning to replace all the pleather in the interior with a different color, and have no idea if it's even possible to replace the SRS covering, or if it's a good idea (I imagine it wouldn't be such a hot idea.)
I'm planning on installing a 93 dash unit which takes care of the passenger SRS, figured I'd just install an aftermarket wheel to take care of the drivers side.
