Default replacing a rear wheel bearing

I've never replaced a civics wheel bearing before, and i've never changed a rear wheel bearing. (changed the front drivers side on neon before)

what is involved in changing this?

when i changed my neons, i just pulled the knuckle out brought it to my buddies shop had them press out the old one and press the new one back in.

but how can i do that with the rear? do u even need to press these bearings out?

any insight will be greatly appreciated. tx.

sorry i forgot to mention its a 97 civic hatch w/o abs.

i did the front ones on my car with a big sludge hammer and a big axle socket that was big enough to knock the bearing out.
i took the spindle off and put it on blocks or wood. took just few taps and it was on its way out. when putting the bearing back in, be car while using hammer not to bend the seal. dont forget to remove the big C clip and the shield thingy. took like 15 mins to do.

Rear wheel bearing is way easier than the front one... No special tools or anything needed.. Dont worry...

I am still shocked that someone hasn't found a replacement bearing for these yet! I mean 120-150 is a lot to spend for an assy when you know that all you really need is the bearing
