Replacing oil seal on distributor shaft
Does anyone know if you can order just the oil seal for 95 Civic distributor shaft, D15B7 motor? This distributor is the one with an internal coil, cap is shaped like a "D". Not the o-ring seal on the outside. Take the dizzy apart, and the seal is inside the bottom where the shaft exits and the drive collar is held on by the snap-ring/dowel pin. The oil seal inside mine has gotten hard and leaks a bit of oil into the dizzy case. Not much, but I want to keep it clean & dry inside. Shaft and bushing are in good shape, upper carrier bearing is still good and smooth, just need that seal. Also, who makes a hotter internal coil replacement?

I dont think you have any options as far as a better internal coil. The stock Honda internal coils are excellent. You should be able to go down to your local parts supplier (Auto Zone, Checkers, Ect.) and pick one up.
Good luck!
