Default Replacing the Fuel filter

So I want to replace my fuel filter this weekend. I have a few questions:

1. Should I buy a flange wrench to do this job? The service manual and an autozone employee I asked both say to just use normal wrenches but I've heard of people preferring to use a flange wrench.
2. To depressurize the fuel system (before I begin to remove the bango bolt) I just need to remove the gas cap, right? This is according to the service manual and same autozone guy...
3. How can I double check that I have the right filter type before I install it?

heres a good Youtube video to help you... I have a 93 and just use regular wrenches... the video fuel filter is slightly different than the older style.

1. line wrench are added safety to rounding the hard line fittings but not absolutely needed
2. remove the gas cap and the small bolt on top of the banjo bolt to relieve pressure
3. if you know the year/make/model/trim of your car then you should be able to find the right part. you can cross reference oem honda part#'s at www.hondapartsunlimited.com or use www.advanceautoparts.com for aftermarket stuff

I use those special wrenches when I do mine. I got them at advance and they came in a pack of 3 wreches with each end having a different size so you have a little bit of everything. I use purolator filters on my civic.
