replacing fuel filter

replacing fuel filter
when my car is in nuetral it shakes and wants to turn off....evntually it does but it will start up agian... i was told it could be fuel pump, filter or a vaccum source...pump is ok...

if it was your fuel pump, it would not be running. try giving it a tune up.
fuel filter
pcv valve
sparks plugs, wires, distr. cap, rotor button.
try cleaning out your throttle body. that plate inside gets crap clogged around it, and when its closed, it can't get enough air through to idle.

thanks ill try to get all that stuff done by this weekend....would you recommend some fuel injector cleaner tooo..?

I don't use injector cleaner in my car, the stuff does more long term damage than good. Unless its the problem don't use anything. Try to get hooked up with somebody who has a fuel system flushing machine instead.

i changed spark plugs and replaced fuel filter. the shakiness slowed down but it seems like its not idling right...its like struggling to stay on...any more suggestions
