Replacing Frong Brake Rotors
Guys,
I am planning to replace the front brake rotors on my Honda Civic myself. These are the first time replacement since i bought my car in 97. I am little worried whether i can get the rotors off ? because the screws might have been jammed or too tight because the car was exposed to severe weather conditions and there might be some rust or some damage done. Any suggestions or techinques that i need to be aware off before i do this thing. The bad part would be if i get one rotor replaced and the other rotor troubles me and i will be screwed.
So experienced guys please share your thoughts.
Another thing, As i am replacing both front rotors and pads, i am not planning on machining the rotor or anything like that. Is that a safe assumption ?
Thanks in Advance.

Re: Replacing Frong Brake Rotors (hondaowner)
Get a impact driver and a large hammer for the screws. They wont come out without one.
If push comes to shuv, use a dremel and cut a slot in the head of the screw, then use the flat bit in the impact driver.
When replacing both the discs and pads, no machining should be necessary. Be sure to get corrosion, etc off the hub to ensure the discs sit flat and true.
