Replacing clutch slave cylinder... how to?
I guess this is probably an easy fix for most in here, but i'm new to mechanics and this is my daily driver that CAN'T be broken down so I was hoping to get a how to on how to replace my slave cylinder.
About 2 months ago my master cylinder started leaking and my clutch fell straight to the floor on the way home from work. Everyone on here told me that I may as well replace the master cylinder AND slave because they usually go at the same time. Well, I was short on money at the time, and I HOPED my slave would be okay for a long long time... lol Turns out yesterday, I hoped in my car, and noticed the clutch was engaging about halfway down instead of way up top. Stopped, checked the master cylinder fluid level, and it was low. Topped it off, and everythings okay but I HATE being stranded so today I looked at the slave, and it looks like fluid has been leaking from the slave somewhere and dripped on the brush guard below.
Anyways! Long story short, I need to replace my slave...
I've been looking all over, doing tons of searches, but I can't find a step by step on how to replace it?
From reading on here, my only concern is connecting the pushrod on the slave that connects to the throwout bearing? If that's even right? How do I go about doing this? When I unbolt the slave, and disconnect the clutch fluid line... will it pull out and be obvious? Do I NEED to grease the new unit? Where and what kind of grease do I need?
Thanks everyone!!

easy bro, take a good look at the slave cylinder bro. Theres two i believe 10 or 12mm bolts that hold it. take those off and that small push rod. Grab the new slave and make sure the push rod sits right on the throw out bearing. Its a easy job bro trust me.

Yupp..just unbolt the old one, take off the hydraulic line..connect the line to the new one and bolt it back up. The pushrod just sits against the clutch fork..no pin or anything. just make sure you bleed the new slave cylinder.
