Default Replacement upper control arm too wide.

Bumped into a problem, can't for the life of me figure out how to fit these. The replacement upper control arm I got is at least a full 1.5 cm wider in total and no amount of violence gets it in far enough without snagging on the sides. Is there a trick to this? Anyone had a similar problem?
Doesn't seem to be an one off production issue because the replacement part for the other side has the same dimensions, and according the site I bought it from and the company who made it - it should fit.

Looks like a cheap knock-off. Get a refund and pick one up from your local auto parts store or online.

Id try returning and getting a new one. I've gotten rotors that were too wide in the past that wouldnt fit. Returned them, had them measure the one I returned with the one I got in exchanged and there was a difference noticeable enough to cause an issue.
