replacement headlights for EK civic?
one of my headlights went out in my EK civic and now i must purchase more. i had piaa super plasmas (5000k low beam/~4000 high beam). i was looking at the piaa extreme whites or sylvania silverstars but i heard mixed reviews on them. anyone recommend a good bulb? please no HID comments.

You're gonna have to look for it but there was a post awhile back stating that OEM blubs provide the best lighting there is. Even compared to the Top and Low end aftermarket bulbs such as PIAA, Sylvania, and some Ricer brands. I stick with OEM.

OEM is crap! even those cheap silvannia silverstars are way better, thats what i have in my honda, and aloth they arent any brighter, they are WHITER, and thats what is important (Y)

Overboost.com did an article a loooong time ago (like three or four years back) that compared OEM bulbs to aftermarket ones. I forget what brands they tested, but I believe this was done on a 5G Civic. Their results said that OEM bulbs may not be as white as aftermarket bulbs, but they illuminate more area of the road.

I would have to agree. I noticed that the area of road illuminated by my cheapo xenon bulbs was a tad bit less. Though it did seem like it reflected off road signs better.
