Re: Replaced knock sensor
It doesn't hurt to check it but a bad knock sensor wont loosen the hold down bolts and rotate the distributor. I'm not trying to be an *** but if your timming is off now it was off before.

Re: Replaced knock sensor
ohh, i wasnt taking it as being an ***. See I broke the knock sensor when installing a intake manifold. Then replaced it and when I started it up the car was not running right at all. Real rough at idle and it sounds as though the timing might be off. I'm going to check it tomorrow and get back to this post. I appreciate all of your help.

Re: Replaced knock sensor
So I'm sitting here looking a the motor and fuel was leaking from my injector that fires to cylinder 1. Pulled the fuel rail off and the top o-ring is torn a little. Would this injector leaking cause my motor to run rough and like ****? Ill let you know how this one goes as well, Im assuming this is probably my problem.

Re: Replaced knock sensor
Just to chime in - yes, the o-ring will cause it to run rough. It will cause a vacuum leak in the engine. Glad to see you fixed it though.
