did you put in crushwashers? and torqued it down right? Better yet replace the crushwashers

yeah, i used the washers that came with the new filter. i dont have a torque wrench so i just tightened the bolt down until it was snug. should i just go to kragens and get new crush washers?

You really need to torque it to spec - if you don't have a torque wrench, some autoparts stores will loan you one.

there are two washers that come with the new filter. one goes on top of the banjo, and the other goes below the banjo, right?

Correct.
Like the other guys said it's important that you torque that bolt. A buddy of mine tried to do it on his own and had the same problem, but when I torqued it for him it was fine. Good luck. |
