its a 96 civic hatchback, blew engine when it dropped a valve and put a hole in my piston car just shut off but would crank when this happened. replaced engine and found out when engine went messed up the coil inside the distributor too so i replaced the entire distributor now it still wont start/run it will crank and i got spark and fuel but it wont run or even try to run, almost like its starting but not getting spark but i check and it is. anything else i should check beacause iam running out of ideas. did u try checking the vacuum lines and the censors??

you have fuel and you have spark. you sure? do a compression test on the new engine. check that the spark plug wires are in the correct order.
