Removing the valve cover bolts

Default Removing the valve cover bolts

i was recently changing my gasket, groments, and spark plug tubs, and i guess i put to much muscle behind tighten up the vavle cover bolts when one of them broke
now i know how to remove it but i cant get it to budge, i am using a metric wrench.... the second one the first one broke.... if anybody can tell me a better way before i have to go to a mechinic (save me some money) i would greatly apperciate it....... 1991 honda civic lx

It should go - remeber to turn counter clockwise. It is a double threaded stud torqued to 7 lb/si. When I broke mine it came out pretty easy. Good luck and remeber not to overtorque next time - those studs break easy!

so it would be in my best intrest to get a torque wrench and get that bolt out instead of tearing my hands up wit a metric
