Default Removing Stock Seatbelts
How do you take out the stock seat belts in a 1993 del sol si i just got my roll bar so i can put in my harnesses any help would be great.

i would assume they are just bolted down... take apart your interior until you find the HUGE bolt

jk but seriously it's probably just like a star socket bolt. I get a breaker bar and heav' HO!!

I think you have to remove the panel behind the seats where the rear speakers are and then there should be a bolt the 17 mm one it shouldn't be that hard.

do you need them for safety inspections? or will the harnesses work for inspection?

I know in NY state they require the seatbelts to be in place for inspection purposes. If the car is a daily driver I would leave the stocks in and use the harnesses only when necessary. Just my opinion.
